Camera shots

There were two different TV series that i had to compare and they were Holby city and Bleak house. The camera shot for Holby city is a long shot angle so there are 5 people in the picture so there are more people in the background which makes the frame bigger. In Bleak house its a close up shot of a women dressed very old fashion and there isn't a anyone apart from her in the background. In Holby city they are doctors and nurse that's what they represent.i think a close up is more effective because it makes it sand out more your looking at the person more. In Bleak house i don't like the angle they have used because it a long shot angle and it isn't as good a close up shot because it doesn't stand out as well.
